Bill Gregg - Davis Senior High School- 29 years of coaching experience, including 6 years at UC Davis (1983-1989) and the past decade at Davis Senior.  Last year his boys ran 79:09 for 3rd at Div. 1 State Meet ranking them #13 all time at Woodward Park! Girls ran 94:39 for #36 all time and 6th place Div. 1 on the same day!

 

 

Walt Lange - Jesuit High School- 41 years coaching experience, mainly at Jesuit HS in Sacramento area. Consistently one of the best Cross Country programs in the nation, producing great teams year after year, including 5 teams under 80 minutes at Woodward Park. Last year ran 79:11 and has an all time best of 79:07. links related to Walt Lange's presentation 

 

Tim O’Rourke - Arroyo High School- 20 years of coaching produced some of the greatest teams in California history with the best being his National Champion team that ran the now #6 all time team time of 78:23 at Woodward Park. Now is the director of the AAF clinics, Mt. SAC Cross Country and Track & Field Meets.

 

 Ken Reeves- Nordhoff  High School - 30 years of coaching at Nordhoff  and Ventura high schools produced the most State Championships by any single coach in the history of the State Meet. Reeves coached teams have held the state meet team time record in 5 different divisions. Directed 11 State championship teams at Nordhoff and 2 state championship teams as an assistant at Ventura.

 

Pat Tyson- Mead High School - During his 30 years of high school coaching he produced teams that dominated the northwest and were constantly ranked in the top 5 in the nation. His 1993 team ran the fastest team time at Woodward Park (during the Footlocker West Regional race) of 77:22. His team won 12 Washington state titles in Cross Country including 7 in a row! 


Cost: $60 includes snacks and drinks, clinic notes, and hours of distance running ideas from some of the greatest coaches ever.

2 clinics in 1 

There will be a beginner/intermediate session from 10:15am till 3:00pm with Tim O’Rourke, Ken Reeves, and Bill Tokar. This group will focus on setting up a season plan, team logistics, workouts throughout the season, and much, much, more.  

There will also be an Advanced/intermediate set of sessions that includes Pat Tyson, Walt Lange, Bill Gregg, Tim O’Rourke, Ken Reeves, Bill Tokar
